2nd Anniversary

Today is our 2nd wedding anniversary. I've worked really hard to get 2 posts out today :)

Because my husband got off early yesterday, we actually celebrated yesterday. I don't really like eating at restaurants and since COVID, I most defiantly don't. Nick agreed to grill steaks if I went and bought them so that's what we planned. I made more than enough food.

I made steak, Bob Evans Mac and Cheese, Lemon Butter Shrimp, Roasted Potatoes, and Mexican Street Corn. Like I said, More than enough food.

We decided to watch the flash together as we ate. We had planned on playing Mario Cart but we both had a migraine last night so we just chilled.

It's hard to believe it's been 2 years since we got married. This past year has been the best year of my life. It's also been a really hard year.

We have had some really fun moments. Nick went to Canada! That was a big moment. I also started my own business. This was big because yes I'm home but no I'm not free, I'm working. We finally painted the 3 rooms that we wanted to paint: Living room, Office and Kitchen. We went to Vegas for a wedding.

We had some down moments: the miscarriage. This was the hardest thing to walk through and I was incredibly grateful that I had my husband by my side.

Marriage isn't easy. It takes a lot of work but each year has been better than the year before

Our Wedding Day

As I’m writing this, it’s the day of our 2nd anniversary. It’s hard to believe that it’s been 2 years. It feels like yesterday and at the same time, that it’s always been.  I'm going to go rather quickly through our wedding day.

The day before our wedding day was really stressful and the reason it was stressful was that I wanted to be in control. In the end, it worked out beautifully but I wish I could go back and change my attitude that day.

On the morning of our wedding, Nick came to my house to pick me up. I think it was like 6:30 or 7. I don’t remember. Then we drove out to my mom and dads since that’s where I would be getting ready.

When we got there, Nick and the groomsmen left to go get ready at the barn. My friend did my hair and then I did my makeup. My little cousins put my veil on me. (I have the cutest pictures from this.) then my cousin (who was my wedding planner for the day), the photographer, and I left for the barn. We went to go get first look pictures with my dad and nick.

We took pictures at the barn and then we moved to the ceremony location which was my then boss’ house. And we took more pictures there.

The whole time I was worried that it was going to rain but it didn’t! It was hot though.

The ceremony was wonderful. Few things I would change. 1) practice lifting the veil 2) make sure everyone knows where the groom is at and 3) make sure someone picks up grandma two hours before the ceremony.

After the ceremony, it started to rain so most people left for the barn. We stayed behind to get some video with the  Videographer. Some things I would change here 1) make sure you and your husband talk about cars 2) make sure you have cars and keys and 3) enjoy being married for 15 mins and 4) bring lots of water to an Indiana June wedding.

Once we made it to our Reception, the real party started. Our reception was amazing and so much fun. We ate tacos, we danced our hearts out. Unplanned our reception lasted 2 hours longer than we had originally planned and that's because our get-away car got a flat tire. But it was so worth the 2 hours of more dancing and hanging out with family.

In the end, our wedding day was amazing and perfect. There are things I would change but the memory is great.

At the end of the day, I married my best friend and that's really all that mattered that day.

Fun Facts about our wedding
1) My Grandma got lost on the way to the ceremony
2) We almost got left at our wedding ceremony
3) The Groom's and Groomsmen shirts got lost the morning of
4) It was so hot
5) Right as we said our vows, a horse across the pond neighed!

Wedding Date post - 10.18.18

It's been a while since I've written a post. So much has happened.

We got married on June 9th at a pond and it was the most wonderful day ever. :) Mr and i went on our honeymoon to Louisville Kentucky and we had a blast. We went to a glass blowing shop and went go karting and went to mamoth cave and went camping lol. It was a blast.

We got back from our honeymoon and went right into life. Nick started a new job and was going to school 4 nights a week which caused some stressful conversations. lol

We are still adjusting to life with 2 dogs and 1 cat in an 800 square foot house. One of our dogs especially has a hard time accepting the cat. They're getting better together.

I was still able to go on my family's yearly vacation to Canada. It was hard going a week. Hard to be away from Nick but at the same time hard to not stay in my Happy Place for  2 weeks. I have always remembered going for 2 years so this was a first memory.

Also this summer, I had to have unexpected wisdom tooth surgury when i found out that not only was my wisdom tooth infected but my back two molars as well.

Life is a busy as ever and it's not stopping now

Life with you is enjoyable

Yesterday I celebrated 18 months dating my best friend. It feels just like yesterday that I first saw him and here's it's been 18 months.
I can hardly remember a time before he was my best friend and I don't want to. lol

I'm looking forward to what the future holds. We've been talking about getting married sometime in the next year... and I'm going to be honest... I don't know if i'm going to share that little information on here or on social media. Not cause I don't want to celebrate with you all, I just have some people in my life that i don't want to show up to my wedding lol.. Anyways.. No engaged yet lol

Nick started school today and so that makes us both College students. Juggling our school work, Work hours, and then come January tax season... One day at a time lol I stress myself out

I've been thinking about what Life was like 2 years ago. I went through the worst emotional days I've ever gone through. I remember arguing with God, telling him that I wanted what i couldn't have and God wasn't being fair., I wish i could tell myself that Nick is sooo much better than that guy i wanted. Nick is far better than anything i could have ever imagined. Life has changed so much in 2 years and i can't wait to see what happens next...

Seven amazing months

Hey Ya'll
On Tuesday of this week, I've celebrated seven months with my amazing man. He's so amazing. lol
I don't think i could list everything i love about him.

He's super sweet. Just yesterday when i showed up at his house to spend the afternoon with him, i was telling him to hurry up because the day was half over. He turned and pulled me into his arms and said "you are my day." awww

We went to Steak and shake for lunch yesterday and then he went shopping with me... What was supposed to be a 20 mins trip in and out, turned out to be an hour at least. I was waiting on my meds to be filled and they took forever!

I was going to put up 7 pictures of us but.... My phone wont load to the computer lol So i can only use the ones i have on my computer here at work.

Wanna to read a big hit?
